- How does your pregnant body feel? Large. When I told a coworker when I was due, she replied with well you do pop out more on your second. I think that maybe pregnancy is glimpse of what it can be like to get old....I need more sleep (seriously, I nap everyday I'm home) but at the same time you have trouble getting a good night sleep, I get out breath really easily, my back hurts, everything seems like more effort...
I just love this picture because Brett's giant smile is for real. We had 8 of us go to Ben Folds with Edmonton Orchestra and it was awesome.
- What changes have you noticed? My hair and skin are less oily...both are plus for me. My groin muscle pain that takes the fun out of my running and the usual back pain that I'm sure everyone has.
- Have you had any morning sickness? Not really since the 1st trimester which I guess explains my ability to gain weight so easily.
- Are you experiencing any strange cravings? I totally didn't buy into cravings the 1st time around..I thought it was just a good excuse to eat whatever or have your husband get you treats but this time I'm really loving fruit especially oranges and pineapple and crunchy chocolate (preferably refrigerated smarties or mini eggs). Or are there some foods you can't stand any more? Nope
- Are you showing? Yep, I'm at 31 weeks When did your belly become obvious? I was sporting baggy clothes before I was even done the 1st trimester but I think it was awhile before people could differentiate weight gain from pregnant.
- Have you had to buy any maternity clothing? Nope, between last pregnancy and my sister's loaner clothes. I can't justify buying clothes I'll only wear for few months.
- Have you felt baby move yet? Yep, this baby is a mover and a shaker. I don't think it goes more than an hour or 2 without moving. It's pretty good at finding my bladder while I'm trying to fall asleep.
- Have you seen baby on ultrasound? Yep, it was pretty much the cutest baby every. How did it feel to see the little being growing in your belly? For me, the ultrasound is when I really feel like there's actually a baby in there.
- Have you found out the gender of you baby? No What were your reasons for deciding to find out / not to find out? I like sharing the surprise when the baby's born and really I wouldn't do anything more even if I knew.
- Have you done any preparation at home for baby's arrival? We needed more space, so we rented our place out for July so we just have to find somewhere to move now. That's about it.
- What do you love about being pregnant? Umm, feeling the baby move around.
Gavin and I have no pictures together where I can get him to look up but sometimes we try anyways.
- What are excited for about being done pregnancy? Cuddling that sweet little baby. Having my body back...it does a lot for me and I love it for that, but it doesn't work the same pregnant. My rule is I only activities I like, I don't like running pregnant. I really tried swimming, but I hate it. I get excited to get back in shape even its slow.
- Are you moody? Yes, I've had a tough time emotionally this time around. I hate having emotions you feel like you really can't control or why you even feel that way. I just don't feel myself when I'm like that and have no motivation for the usual routine.
- Are you stressed? I must be since I apparently I grind my teeth so much at night I chipped one. 1st, we still need to find a place to move to and finalize with our renters. We're planning to move a matter of weeks before I'm due since I don't want to move away from our babysitter's while I'm still working. I'm going back to work full-time next month (I only do 3 days right now which I love). Having 2 kids and everything that goes with it...missing the sleep, I just hope for a baby like Gavin, etc. This sounds silly, but I worry about being home with 2 kids full-time. I really like the balance I have right now. There's something about going to work being productive that refreshes my patience and energizes me for when I go home. Since I'm not at home all the time, I savour what I do have and don't care that I don't have crafty hobbies or anything. He's pretty fun to pick up when he races to the door and talks/giggles/squeals the whole ride home. I'm pretty sure the working full-time for month will help cure that.

Brett had birthday last month. I thought Gavin could help me make a cake, but he thought I meant eat it. There was small tantrum involved when I put it in the oven.
